First I thought I only got lucky, but now I'm playing Minerva's Den and still no crash. I played through Fontaine Futuristics right until I finished the whole game in Persephone and it didn't crash once. However, now all of a sudden it seems to run rather smooth and didn't crash in a while. I tried using the methode above, updated my graphic driver, re-installed DirectX and vcredist, tried other methodes and nothing worked. If anyone else has any other insight into any of the other settings let me know. This fix not only fixed my crashing but also made loading/save times shorter. If you change any settings in game after you make the changes to the ini, it will revert back and the crashes will start again. After you made those changes save and exit. I will post what mine looks like at the end of the post. There are also some other settings here that you can change to get better effects. Also find UseMultithreadedRendering and change it to UseMultithreadedRendering=True. Under find UseMultithreading and change it to UseMultithreading=True. Navigate to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\BioshockHD\Bioshock2 (Replace username with the user name you chose for windows) open the file Bioshock2SP.ini with either notepad or notepad++(I prefer notepad++) Navigate to. Also turn off VSync in game(if you are like me and hate screen tare you can add a profile in your GFXs card's control panel like I do, just make sure to also enable triple buffering). Now before you do ANYTHING go into game, set all the settings/keybindings/mouse settings to where you want them because if you change ANYTHING and hit apply the settings you change here will revert back.
